The 19-year-old Josh Sims capped off his first Premier League start with a man-of-the-match performance in Southampton's 1-0 win over Everton, and earned a standing ovation when he was substituted in the 84th minute.
Sims told Sky Sports: "As a kid I came through the academy at Southampton, so playing in front of all the fans and them singing my name was a dream. It's everything you wish for.
"It was a mixture of nervousness and excitement. I knew I was in the squad but, as soon as I found out I was starting, I got tips from the lads and they told me to do what I do best."

Southampton youngster Josh Sims really caught the eye on his full debut in the 1-0 win over Everton and boss Claude Puel liked what he saw.

Man United recovered after conceding very early on and equalised after 20 minutes but, try as they might, they could not get a second goal. Skipper Wayne Rooney came on during the second half but he and his team mates found Hammers keeper Darren Randolph in superb form.

81: CLOSE! Man United really upping the pressure as they break down the left. Rooney chips the ball towards the back post, where Ibrahimovic volleys back across goal but Randolph sticks out a leg and blocks.

79: CHANCE! Another sensational cross from Cedric and it finds Ward-Prowse, who brings the ball down and his effort is palmed away by Stekelenburg for a corner.

76: CHANCE! Fine effort from Sims and his shot goes across the face of the goal. Austin then finds Ward-Prowse in a good position after a spill by the Everton goalkeeper, but he stabs his effort wide.

77: SAVE! A crucial stop from Randolph as Mkhitaryan pokes the ball goalwards from six yards out. The keeper reacts sharply and gets a fingertip to it that turns the ball on to the post. The rebound falls to Lingard to turn in but he is offside.

74: SHOT! United starting to apply more pressure as Lingard hits a good shot from the edge of the box. Straight at Randolph, though.
