beast vs goldgers
Will Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns get along well? Can Sami Zayn snatch away the Intercontinental championship from The Miz? Get ready for the ultimate Survivor Series action as Brock Lensar takes on the returning Bill Goldberg while RAW and SmackDown battle for brand supremacy.
Below are the results from WWE Survivor Series.
Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Sami Zayn
It was a good-fought contest and was never easy to predict the winner. A valiant effort from Sami Zayn but he was destined to lose.
When Sami had The Miz in a Figure Four, Maryse rang the bell which made the former think he has won. The distraction helped The Miz and he then capitalized with a roll up and a win.
Winner, and still Intercontinental Champion: The Miz
Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match
It was nice to see the mega tag team encounter but after a point of time, it looked drab. Surprisingly Raw won this bout, but what surprised everyone was that Cesaro and Sheamus led them to victory.
Winners: Cesaro and Sheamus for Team RAW
WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick vs. Kalisto
If Kalisto won against Brian Kendrick, SmackDown will get the Entire Cruiserweight division, that’s how the deal was. That deal brought levels of excitement to some fans, but the game proved to be a no-brainer.
Baron Corbin, who had unfinished business with Kalisto, interrupted the game and got him disqualified. That’s how Corbin killed the excitement of thousands of fans!
Winner, by DQ, and still Cruiserweight Champion: Brian Kendrick
Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men’s Elimination Match
There were some impressive performances in this match, for sure, but like the 10-on-10, looked to be real waste of time. In fact, the game felt like "filling time."
Winners: Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton of Team SmackDown
Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg
This was the most anticipated match as the bout threw every WWE fan back to 2004 when these two heavyweight clashed against each other. By the time, one could even blink an eye, the match was over! Such was the disappointment of the game.
However, Bill Goldberg is known for two devastating moves—The spear and the jackhammer. He did them and won the match inside a couple of minutes, but what brought instant joy was to see Brock getting crushed so fast.
Veteran Goldberg was at his lethal best as two back-to-back spears followed by a jackhammer sealed Brock’s fate in Survivor Series.
Winner: Bill Goldberg
